Little Yellow Cottage: Steps to Lanikai Beach Nestled in the beachside residential community of Lanikai in Kailua, this home is well appointed with all the creature comforts of a home away from home. It is a separate and distinct 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage. Upstairs is a full kitchen and a living/dining area as well as a convenient half bath. Downstairs are two bedrooms: the master with a queen-sized bed and the second one with two twins. Both share a jack and jill full bathroom. The home is fully furnished, including a TV, books, games, toys as well as beach towels, linens, and an initial supply of paper products and soaps including dish soap, laundry soap and body soap. The front porch opens out to a very large monkey pod tree, spanning two properties and home to songbirds (manu mele) - our morning serenade!! It is only a five to seven minute walk to the world famous Lanikai beach, the best swimming beach in all of Hawai’i. The town of Kailua is a seven minute drive, making us close to shopping, some great restaurants and the Kailua Beach Center that rents kayaks and other ocean toys. The property is managed by a long-term resident of Hawaii.
