The Winchester Peak Chalet! This delightful 1-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin is absolutely perfect for your family's vacation. Partially handicapped accessible, (not ADA compliant) most everything inside this cabin can be readily accessed for most physically challenged guests. Upon entering through the front door, you will discover an open and airy kitchen, dining, and living area with stainless steel appliances including a Sub- Zero refrigerator/freezer, a large dining table with four chairs, a breakfast bar with two bar stools, and a comfy living space accompanied by a free -standing gas fireplace to cozy up to, and a flat screen monitor with a Blu Ray player. Proceeding down the hallway, you will discover one bedroom with 1-queen sized bed, a 3/4-bath with a stack washer and dryer, a second bedroom also with 1-queen sized bed a third master bedroom with 1-full sized bed and a half bath. A tankless water heater serves the cabin with an endless supply of hot water. Just outside the front door you will find a gas grill, and on the side yard the cabin has its own private hot tub. This pet-friendly, WIFI equipped, and monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 6-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!). PLEASE NOTE: WIFI service is now available to our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is in the process of dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE WIFI SERVICE fails to function properly. The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round! An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total reservation cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property. The remaining balance is considered due-in-full 14-days prior to our Guest's scheduled date of arrival and is automatically debited to our Guest's credit card on the scheduled due date.
