This beautiful, spacious home is located in Halawa Heights, in Aiea, HI, and will be available for move-in on Friday, 01 November, 2024. I will hold viewings upon request in 30-minute time slots. Please message me to schedule an afternoon or weekend showing. I am looking for renters wanting to sign a 1-year lease. Please be advised, that my plan is to sell the house by the end of next year, but I would not and will not list the house without providing plenty of notice to renters, and I will not break the terms of our lease. My goal is to sell by December 2025. The house is directly across the street from the Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corps Base, so if you are stationed or assigned there, you would literally be able to walk to work. The house is also close (approximately 1 mile) to the H1 Interchange where you can also easily access the H201 (Moanalua Freeway) and the H3. "The Bus" also travels Halawa Heights Rd., so you would have easy access to public transportation, with a bus-stop close by, right up the street, about 60 yards from the house! Other bases fairly close to the house, offering a 15-minute or less commute, include Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH - Main Base), JBPHH - Makalapa Compound , Ft. Shafter/Ft. Shafter Flats, and Tripler Army Medical Center. Due to the close proximity to the main highways, you would still have fairly short commutes 20-30 minutes to Kaneohe Marine Corps Base and Schofield Army Barracks, including Desmond T. Doss Medical Center. The home is unfurnished and is very spacious (2,036sqft), so you will have plenty of room...and lots of internal storage in the house. There is also a good-sized additional storage space in the garage. As for parking, it IS limited in the neighborhood, but there is a 2-car garage. There is a shared driveway, so I would introduce you to your new neighbors if you sign a lease. Other notables for the home: - APN Security System with exterior cameras installed - Washer and Dryer (outside) - Front Yard (has plumeria tree and Ti leaf plants). The pictured lawn chairs and hammock will stay. - Back Yard - Swing (on front lanai - holds up to 165lbs) - No central air (but great tradewinds off the mountains). If there are no breezes however, additional fans may be needed during the summer months) - Garage door opener(s) will be provided, along with the keys. - No drugs - No smoking - No pets - No Section 8 As for utilities, the home is cable and internet ready. When I lived there, I paid roughly another $450 combined per month for utilities to HECO, SPECTRUM, and Board of Water Supply. The rent will be $4,600, and the renter would be responsible for paying utilities.
